The Art of Leadership
Can you share the journey that led you to found UNVEILD?
I first discovered Evy Poumpouras on Lisa Bilyeu’s Women of Impact podcast, and her words , “How can I master other people if I can’t master myself first?” , struck me like lightning. I realized that before we can influence the world around us, we have to be honest with ourselves, recognizing our blind spots, doing the inner work, and taking actionable steps to shift our reality. Only then can we lead with clarity and purpose.
That insight became the foundation of how I define leadership. True influence isn’t about control or persuasion, it’s about integrity. It’s showing up in a way that reflects your values and the best version of yourself.
This perspective deepened during my time as an actor and later as co-founder of Hey Beauti Magazine alongside Nicola Haggins, where I produced shoots with Sarah Shahi, Steve Howey, and Emmanuelle Chriqui, and interviewed talents like Megan Fox and Priyanka Chopra. My work always focused on what lies beneath the surface, the essence of who people are and what drives them. Over time, that focus led me to create UNVEILD Artist Management, a company where strategic guidance meets honoring the whole person.
How do you balance intuition and strategy when making big decisions?
For me, intuition is a whisper; fear is noise. Recognizing the difference between the two has been life-changing. I trust that quiet inner knowing, even when it defies logic. But I pair it with strategy , concrete steps, consistent follow-through, and tactical execution.
This balance guides everything I do. My intuition helps me discern whether a project truly honors the fullness of who my client is, ensuring that every opportunity reflects their authentic self and potential; strategy ensures they’re positioned for success in front of the right casting directors, producers, and networks. The combination is what allows my clients not only to work consistently but to thrive in roles that feel deeply resonant to them.
About UNVEILD & Philosophy
What is the core philosophy behind UNVEILD?
At UNVEILD, everything begins with essence. Too often in Hollywood, I’ve seen actors reshaped into something that doesn’t reflect who they truly are. I wanted to create an alternative.
To be UNVEILD is to walk through the arch, a symbol I chose for my company to represent moving beyond what’s conventionally expected and stepping fully into one’s authentic and higher self. The ‘U’ in UNVEILD embodies this passage. It’s the doorway an artist must step through to claim the roles meant for them. The core definition of the word is about guiding actors back to honoring their spirit, so they can radiate a presence that is unforgettable and magnetic.
How do you ensure your work with clients reflects your values?
It begins with listening. Before I sign a client, I tune in, not just to their talent, but to who they are, what drives them, and the vision they hold for their own journey. I look for a resonance between us, a shared understanding of purpose and potential. From there, I craft a path that doesn’t just move their career forward, but honors the trajectory they’re meant to follow, the roles, the projects, the opportunities that feel like an extension of their highest self.
Integrity is at the core of every decision. I encourage clients to pursue projects they can connect with on a soul level, whether that’s a blockbuster or a small indie film. The focus isn’t on chasing the biggest paycheck but on building a career rooted in substance. That way, their work not only succeeds externally but also feels meaningful internally.
Client-Centric Approach
How do you help your clients navigate the pressures of the industry while staying true to themselves?
I see my role as being their GPS: I provide direction, clarity, and strategy, but they’re always in the driver’s seat. My job is not to make choices for them but to empower them to lead themselves with confidence.
When an audition tape doesn’t capture their presence, I give honest feedback and encourage a redo , not to critique but to help them deliver their best. I also remind them that it’s okay to say no to projects that don’t align with their values. That self-trust is key in an industry full of noise.
What’s powerful is that this approach works. Clients are not only booking projects but also being called back by casting directors again and again. That consistency has created a domino effect, opening doors to bigger opportunities. It proves that when artists are guided by their inner compass, the industry answers.
Can you share an example of a career pivot you guided that had a transformative impact?
One of my favorite examples is a client who was frustrated by constant setbacks. Instead of focusing solely on ‘booking jobs,’ we shifted the approach to connecting with roles that truly resonated with her. We reworked her press kit, refined her outreach, and honed her audition strategy, but the real transformation came from how she showed up. You could feel her energy in her self-tapes as she brought more of herself with confidence and presence. It was the perfect balance of detachment and staying fully present, and soon, it was callback after callback.
I’ve seen all the principles I focus on, honoring the whole self, showing up with presence, leaning into intuition, make a tangible difference. But there’s one more key: trusting without clinging to results. When you fully trust, the universe responds. It’s about letting go of the need to control everything, a challenge for all of us, myself included, but I can say with absolute confidence that when we embrace this, stay present, and flow, magic happens.
