How one trial lawyer turned insider knowledge and fierce compassion into justice for injured families.
From Defending Corporations to Fighting for People
The lioness does not hunt because she enjoys the fight. She fights because someone she protects depends on her. That single idea sits at the heart of Schneider Injury Law, an all-women trial firm in Atlanta founded by Bethany Schneider. It also explains why the firm chose the lioness as its symbol: compassionate counselor and tough advocate, united in one form.
Bethany Schneider did not begin her career on the side of injured families. She began it inside one of the nation’s premier defense firms, King & Spalding, where she spent eight and a half years representing Fortune 500 companies in complex products liability and catastrophic injury litigation. There, she learned exactly how major corporations, manufacturers, hospitals, and insurance companies investigate, evaluate, and defend high-exposure cases.
That decade of insider knowledge now belongs to the people who need it most. Schneider brings the very playbook once used to protect corporations to the plaintiff’s side of the courtroom. Her clients gain an advocate who understands the strategies of the other side before those strategies are ever deployed.
Her credentials reinforce that authority. She graduated with Highest Honors from the University of Georgia, earning membership in Phi Beta Kappa, then graduated with Honors from The University of Texas School of Law, where she was recognized as Best Advocate. Today she is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist, a distinction that reflects her commitment to understanding the complex neurological injuries many of her clients face.
A Boutique Built on a Different Kind of Strength
Unlike high-volume personal injury firms, Schneider Injury Law intentionally limits the number of cases it accepts. This is a deliberate choice. It allows the team to devote extraordinary time, resources, and strategic preparation to every client, preparing each case as though it will ultimately be decided by a jury.
Bethany founded the firm with a singular vision: every client, regardless of the perceived value of their case, would receive the same caliber of representation that Fortune 500 companies expect and pay top dollar to receive. That philosophy continues to define every aspect of the practice.
The firm handles complex, high-stakes litigation, including catastrophic injuries, medical negligence, commercial trucking collisions, sexual assaults, dangerous products, and other acts of serious wrongdoing. Behind every case file, the team believes, is a person, a family, and a future worth fighting for.
“People often think strength and compassion are opposites,” Bethany says. “I’ve learned they’re inseparable. My clients need a compassionate counselor when they’re grieving, overwhelmed, and afraid. They also need a relentless advocate when powerful corporations and insurance companies refuse to take responsibility. The lioness represents both.”

Verdicts That Reflect Relentless Preparation
Over more than fifteen years and more than forty jury trials, Bethany has secured a remarkable record of results. In 2024, she won a $7 million jury verdict against Yamaha after a defective golf cart braking system caused catastrophic injuries to a young girl. In 2019, she secured a $5.5 million jury verdict, plus more than $1.05 million in attorney’s fees, for a client who suffered a mild traumatic brain injury due to dangerous conditions at a construction site.
Her record continues with a $3 million settlement in 2025 for a client sexually assaulted because of negligent property management, a $3 million medical malpractice settlement in 2023, a $1.2 million jury verdict plus $100,000 in attorney’s fees in 2022 for a client with a traumatic brain injury from an automobile collision, and a $1.05 million jury verdict in 2020 for a client with significant cervical spine injuries.
These outcomes did not happen by chance. “Preparation is the antidote to imposter syndrome,” Bethany explains. “I can’t control every assumption someone makes when I walk into a courtroom, but I can control whether I’m the most prepared person in it.”
Her peers have taken notice. She has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyer, after previously being named a Georgia Rising Star, and was selected to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40. She is a graduate of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association LEAD Program and serves in a leadership role within that association, mentoring the next generation of plaintiff trial lawyers.
More Than a Firm, a Movement
Schneider Injury Law is proudly woman-owned and all-women. That identity is not a marketing note. It is a foundation. The firm fosters growth for women in the legal industry at every stage: interns considering law school, paralegals transitioning to executive roles, and administrative assistants growing into office managers.
This culture reflects a belief Bethany holds close. “Another woman’s success doesn’t diminish mine,” she says. “It expands what’s possible for all of us.” The firm’s collaborative environment is rooted in empathy, resilience, meticulous attention to detail, and fierce advocacy. Together, the team proves that compassion and fierceness can coexist and thrive.
The firm also earns trust from other attorneys who refer their clients. “When another lawyer entrusts Schneider Injury Law with a case, they’re not simply referring a client,” Bethany notes. “They’re trusting us with their reputation. That’s a responsibility we never take lightly.”
Justice That Reaches Beyond the Courtroom

At Schneider Injury Law, accountability creates safer communities. By holding negligent individuals, corporations, healthcare providers, and insurance companies responsible, the firm seeks not only justice for its clients but meaningful change that helps prevent similar tragedies. Every case becomes an opportunity to secure justice for one family while making communities safer for the next.
Clients are never treated as case numbers. The firm prioritizes communication, transparency, and genuine relationships, ensuring clients feel heard, supported, and empowered at every stage. Every strategy is tailored not only to maximize results but also to help clients regain a sense of stability, dignity, and hope after devastating loss.
“Every verdict matters. Every settlement matters,” Bethany reflects. “But what matters most is whether a client feels protected, heard, and empowered during the hardest chapter of their life.”
