Gigi Hadid Channels ’80s Fashion at Vogue’s Vintage Market
New York, NY – Model Gigi Hadid recently brought a touch of the past to the bustling streets of New York City. Attending the much-anticipated Vogue’s Vintage Market, Hadid showcased a vintage-inspired ensemble reminiscent of fashion icon Princess Diana.
A Nod to the ’80s with a Modern Twist
Emulating the style of the 1980s, Hadid donned a bright yellow top adorned with polka dots, featuring a round scoop neckline and an extravagant ruffled collar. Puff sleeves cut just above the elbow added to the retro allure, complemented by oversized buttons down the front for an authentic vintage look. Pairing this with contemporary mid-waist mom jeans, slim sunglasses, and stone-studded earrings, Hadid perfectly blended old-school elements with modern fashion sensibilities. Her white socks and brown leather loafers combined effortlessly with a chic boxy Moschino handbag to complete the look.
Supporting a Good Cause at Vintage Pop-Up
Held at Roll & Hill in SoHo, Vogue’s Vintage Market is a renowned event where fashion enthusiasts gather to view and purchase exclusive vintage pieces. During the event, Hadid expressed her excitement about acquiring unique items, including a blue-and-white floral dress by John Galliano once worn by editor-in-chief Anna Wintour to the 1996 Met Gala. Proceeds from the market were directed to aiding victims of the recent Los Angeles wildfires. “To be able to do this to raise money and get special pieces feels really good,” Hadid commented.
