Through leadership roles and global outreach, she built a reputation as a resourceful and inspirational figure in personal development.
Joy and Ron’s commitment to service led them to various roles, including managing a Bed and Breakfast in Iowa and traveling widely, including a mission trip to Russia. Their diverse life experiences continue to inspire their writing and creativity.

A pivotal moment in Joy’s life came after a major health crisis—a life-threatening brain surgery that led her to reassess her priorities and embrace new creative ventures.
