In a new shoot for W magazine published on January 3 (she is the first cover star of the annual Best Performance issue), the 32-year-old looks glamorous as she reclines on a plush sofa. We offer the perfect inspiration for the coming year, both in the lifestyle and manicure departments.
Manicurist Michelle Saunders James was in charge of the portfolio’s nail art, and suggested a short chocolate cherry color that would satisfy even those who don’t have plans for award season in a big way. To get this look, pick up a bottle of Essie’s Wicked Polish or Chanel’s classic Rouge Noir Le Vernis Longwear Nail Color. Other than a classic glossy top coat, you don’t need any special finishes or chrome powder to get the look. Sweet enough on its own, like a good chocolate cherry.

The Emilia Perez star opted for her usual round, square shape to accentuate her natural nails, leaning further into the rich, classic vibe of her polish.
