The days between Christmas and New Year’s Eve are all about kicking back and relaxing and it’s easy to miss what your favorite celebrities are up to. But believe me. They provide services even during downtime. And we cannot afford to leave these preliminary appearances completely unappreciated.
While out and about in New York over the holiday weekend, Rihanna stopped by a karaoke event and did two very Rihanna things. The first is to perform two of her own songs, “Needed Me” and “Sex With Me.” The second is to show off her elaborate manicure.

The mani in question, who lucky fans got to appreciate in real life, looked transparent in a simple white French tip when she grabbed the microphone for the five-minute show. Once the base was applied, her artists added festive hand-painted decorations with white snowflakes and little gingerbread men (nail stickers also work here!).
In the end, I went with the “look out the window and watch it snow” style, but I’m sure it will last me the rest of the winter, even if I don’t eat the gingerbread. To make things even better, she paired the glamor (which also included a big, shiny, lined lip and peach cheeks) with a giant fur hat.

Instead of the funky updos she’s been loving lately, she opted to wear dark locks with wavy hair. Pair it with an oversized T-shirt, jeans, and work boots for an easy, casual look.

A few days later, in 2025, when she snuggled up with friends in a bathrobe, her nail polish was still strong. “New year, new me,” she wrote in the Instagram Reel caption. But really, we wish she remained exactly the same, at least when it comes to her approach to beauty.
