Updated: Nov. 30, 8:45 a.m.: Bursting virtual carts is both the perk and the peril of every Vogue editor’s job. We literally stay up late into the night scrolling through new arrivals from our favorite retailers. Fashion (and beauty, and home) is our passion and we love splurging year-round, but when it comes to finding coveted items for friends, family, and of course ourselves, we love the best. I prefer sales. Just about every retailer is currently offering exciting deals for Black Friday, from Black Friday sales on clothing to discounts on skin care and makeup, but deciding where to start your epic scroll? is difficult. That’s where we intervene.

When it comes to shopping sales, I have a very strict approach to shopping. You have to do that, right? With so many options, it’s easy to stray from your personal style (I learned that the hard way!) My rule? Only buy things that are already on your wishlist. If it wasn’t there to begin with, you may not need it.

I plan on shopping the men’s section more than anything, hoping to find a holiday gift for my boyfriend. He loves APC and James Perse, so I’m looking for sweaters, hoodies, and cool jewelry for him to wear. I dropped his portable speaker a few weeks ago and need a replacement. Oops!

I’ve had my eye on Toteme’s shearling-lined winter boots for the past few seasons, and now that I’ve booked a trip to the mountains for 2025, it finally felt like the right time to add them to my cart. Speaking of 2025, I’ll be attending a few weddings, and Tove’s silk maxi is perfect for both summer ceremonies and formal receptions. Finally, I have a CE Ferulic obsession and there is nothing worse than an empty bottle. If you have an opportunity to get SkinCeuticals at a discount, whether it’s duty-free shopping while traveling or shopping during Cyber Week, you’ll definitely want to take advantage of it.

I have my eye on some designer pieces that I would be extremely irresponsible to buy at full price. A stunning Simone Rocha dress with lace trim and dramatic draping on the shoulders and a super cool two-tone Marni denim skirt.

Ever since I came across this amazing coat from The Row, I knew I couldn’t stop thinking about it. That’s how I feel about most things about the Olsen twins, but not this one. For Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I’m looking to ditch my fleeting desires and invest in something nice, like this faux fur coat from Lulu Studio or tall boots from Jil Sander (my type of investing fun!) ) Lastly, I am in need of something that I desperately need. I’ve heard nothing but good things about the new iron and the Dyson hair tools.

All of my favorite seasonal trends are on sale this early Black Friday, including suede loafers, relaxed pairs of corduroy, slouchy leather bomber jackets, and standout knits. It could be a new upgrade to my winter wardrobe, so I’m considering these treasured items to help you get started. The best part? These are trendy for all seasons and I’ve been wearing these all the way through spring.

What I’m most interested in this Cyber Week are winter wardrobe essentials like Toteme’s cozy gray knit and The Frankie Shop’s cropped bomber jacket. In the beauty world, I’m so impressed with this Augustine Bader trio that I plan on gifting them to my family this holiday season.

I used to buy a lot of chic things on Black Friday. I still remember the mirror and pom pom print Altuzarra skirt I found at Matches (RIP) in 2012 for 50% off. These days, my Black Friday goals are much smaller: clothing prices and actual sizes. Children’s brands have big Black Friday sales, so I’ve been stocking up on pajamas for my two toddlers. Here are a few pairs I have my eye on for Arthur and Alice (and one for me too).

This Black Friday, I’m looking for versatile and comfortable separates to add to my wardrobe. I’ve been eyeing these Fair Isle sweaters and pleated pants (I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair!).

My former colleague and style inspiration Emily Farah told me that Calvin Klein makes the best jeans. So this Black Friday, I’ll be shopping for denim from iconic American denim brands. Also, one of my favorite sweaters that I borrowed from my mom is a cozy cashmere gray turtleneck from Saks Fifth Avenue. She has been using it for over 10 years. Still in great condition despite heavy wear. If that doesn’t prove that Saks Fifth Avenue cashmere is worthless, I don’t know what will.

Now I’m working on reviewing the basics. I’m a sucker for everyday ankle boots, and I especially love Reformation’s super sleek Rae boots. As for jeans, I’m thinking of buying more indigo pants. As an Agolde supporter, I’m eyeing these low-slung baggy jeans. I might have to accept them both.

Since the pandemic, I have just started exercising again (I took one Pilates class and can barely walk). To commemorate this, I would like to get some new training clothes. Also, everyone in the class was so cute that it seems like working out has become a fashion event post-pandemic, right? Annoying. These Alo leggings are so cute that they obviously need a matching top.

There’s a wishlist, and then there’s a Vogue editor wishlist. Throughout the year, these items are screenshotted, captured hearts, and fantasized about until they’re released. Unfortunately, it’s time to add to cart. And thankfully, there’s a huge designer discount. Below, check out Jacquemus’ zebra-print skirt, Loewe’s flamenco clutch to bring joy to the year of butter, Stella McCartney and The Row’s essential knitwear, and some of our editors’ favorite other seasonal hits please.
