Every year, Birdie’s editors and testers test thousands (yes, thousands) of beauty products. Last year, I tested over 300 products myself. Some had overwhelming performances, others had solid performances, but a select group really stood out. As someone who tests and recommends products for a living, I’m very focused on what I think is great. What makes a truly great product? Yes, the answer can be relatively subjective, but for me, something that lives up to its claims and spotlights my beauty routine You need to offer something new or unique. And in a severely oversaturated market, the latter part is difficult to achieve, and only a select few meet the criteria.
