How things go into the kiln and come out, sometimes the expectations It can be different from what you’re used to, and it’s like a journey, and it also gives you a sense of travel and adventure.” The references to ceramics come in color washes on lightweight suits and sheer dresses with drop waists. The effect is evident in the subtle glaze-inspired prints. and the peel and crackle techniques applied to their signature leather pieces. What really seemed to influence this collection was a sense of travel, but through the lens of luxe ’90s America. See pleated Bermuda shorts paired with an open-weave knit tank top, topped with a casual button-down. Leave your shirt open. Or the wrinkled fabrics used in amazing minimalist tank dresses and tank and A-line skirt combinations. There were also plenty of easy cotton poplin pieces, including a “high-tech trench coat” and a stunning khaki dress with gathers at the shoulders and waist. Everything is packed in a suitcase and made to be worn in remote locations with no iron or steamer in sight.
