On January 1, the actor shared an Instagram post that captured the best parts of the New Year’s Eve festivities. I mean, that moment before the party when you take pictures and enjoy yourself in all your splendor. (Not that the party, hosted by Skyler Marshai and Temitope Ibisanmi and complete with a gorgeous grazing table, didn’t look amazing.)

Her whole look was great, but her hair stood out, mainly because of the aforementioned bangs. Wispy though it may be, Medusa’s fringe, which stretches her tendrils forward, transitions into a thick facial frame, before melting into a long, almost waist-length, silky layer that makes her look They moved and grooved as they danced the night away. When it comes to color, the actor stuck to her natural black shade. There were no bright blue highlights or copper tones this time.

Naturally, Palmer’s comments were flooded with fans praising her and comparing her looks to other icons. For some, she reminded them of Aaliyah (following Zelaya’s anthem at Essence Fest 2024, there will be more tributes to the artist this year), and her “The Pleasure Principle” music… Some people pointed out her resemblance to Janet Jackson in the video. In the end, different inspirations came into play and the look remained perfectly Palmer.
As for makeup, the 31-year-old kept the influence alive with dark-lined eyes (which both Lydia and Aaliyah would approve of) and matte nude pink lips. Fans also got a peek at her manicure in several carousel photos. For this occasion, she chose a classic glossy red for her short squoval-shaped nails.
