“Tis the season for another iconic Hailey Bieber manicure.
The model’s martini nails, which she wore to celebrate her 28th birthday in style at the end of November, are gone. Instead, she seems to be fully into the holiday spirit, first launching a peppermint glaze lip treatment that quickly sold out, and now launching a mani that taps into the same festive glow.
On December 5th, Bieber shared a new Instagram post with his nails on the front. The first photo in the carousel, captioned “As usual,” is a mirror selfie. In it, she rocks a vintage-inspired brown skirt suit and sunglasses. She’s clutching a road phone case, also brown (naturally, the cinnamon roll lip tint is safely in its holster), the perfect shade to frame her shimmery pink jelly nails .
The look is certainly more Cinnamon Girl than Cindy Lou Who, but the spirit is still there. These nails would look like they’d fit perfectly into a vintage holiday Pinterest board, where you’d see sparkling white trees hung with tinsel and lots of pops of pink. Or, it feels a lot like what the Sugar Plum Fairy would have worn if she were an It Girl circa 2024.
The nails, likely the work of Lorde’s founder’s go-to manicurist Zora Ganzolito, feature Bieber’s signature long, round almond shape. In another photo, she wears the same mani and yet another vintage-inspired suit, this time in gray. Again, that jelly finish fits beautifully.
Naturally, the rest of the snapshots also include some glamorous moments, perfect for a beauty mogul who just goes about her “business.” In one photo, Bieber is pouting with his hair up in big rollers, and his cheeks are already smeared with dewy pocket blush. In another photo, he takes a selfie in a car wearing the same brown suit. You can see the nail polish on her sunglasses, but the color match on the cheeks and lips is a priority here.
While we know how to create Bieber’s makeup look (it’s super easy with blush), her exact nail shade is still open to interpretation. If you’re looking for a DIY moment, Essie’s Astral Aura is a good duck. If not, you can also have your manicurist apply two coats of pink jelly (for a bit of color) and a glittery top coat. Better yet, show us a photo of Ganzolito’s work. This isn’t the first time.
