For Amazon sellers, fulfillment strategy shapes how inventory, capital and logistics get managed. It is one of the few decisions that touches every part of the business at once.
Wealth Automators has built much of its Amazon operation around Fulfilled by Merchant, FBM, combined with Seller Fulfilled Prime for qualifying operations.
What Is the Difference Between FBM and FBA?
With Fulfillment by Amazon, merchandise is sent into Amazon's fulfillment network, where Amazon stores products and handles picking, packing, shipping, customer service and returns. Amazon describes FBM as the alternative, in which sellers fulfill customer orders themselves or through their own logistics operation.
The practical difference is control. FBA hands off execution. FBM keeps it, along with the responsibility for meeting Amazon's delivery standards.
Wealth Automators uses its own U.S. fulfillment infrastructure as part of that strategy.
"We wanted more control over when inventory is purchased and how it's fulfilled," says founder Erika Mirzayans. "For our model, that flexibility is extremely important."
What Does "Sell First, Buy Later" Mean?
A central part of the Wealth Automators approach is what the company calls "sell first, buy later." Instead of purchasing large quantities of every potential product before demand is confirmed, the model allows products to be purchased from its supplier network after a customer sale occurs.
Wealth Automators says the intent is to reduce exposure to inventory that may sit unsold, while making it easier to change product selections when demand shifts.
"We don't want capital sitting in a product simply because six months ago we thought it was a great idea," Mirzayans says. "If the demand isn't there anymore, the model needs to be able to respond."
Where the Products Come From
The sourcing behind those orders is its own distinction. Wealth Automators says its network includes more than 1,500 major U.S. brands and authorized distributors, and states that products ship through its own fulfillment facilities rather than being purchased from other retailers and forwarded directly to marketplace customers.
Once an order enters the system, the company's U.S. operations handle processing, packing and shipping. Wealth Automators says its logistics infrastructure includes more than 180 U.S. employees and a multi-state warehouse network supporting nationwide fulfillment.
Recognized As A 2026 Leader In E Commerce Management
Wealth Automators has been recognized as the “Best E Commerce Management Service in the United States of 2026” by Best of Best Review. The recognition highlights the company’s approach to managing ecommerce operations across major marketplaces, including product research, supplier coordination, marketplace listings, fulfillment, shipping, and customer service. The award reflects Wealth Automators’ broader focus on building structured ecommerce operations designed to support sellers across multiple digital marketplaces.
The recognition also underscores Wealth Automators’ multi marketplace strategy across Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and TikTok Shop. Rather than depending on one ecommerce platform, the company manages operations across several marketplaces, each with its own shoppers, requirements, and opportunities. Its approach combines marketplace management with product research, sourcing, fulfillment, and customer support, creating an integrated model intended to help businesses navigate the complexity of selling across multiple platforms.

How Seller Fulfilled Prime Fits
Amazon's Seller Fulfilled Prime program allows qualifying sellers to display Prime branding on products they fulfill outside Amazon's warehouses. Sellers must meet Amazon's prequalification standards, complete a trial period and continue satisfying performance requirements to remain enrolled.
Wealth Automators says it incorporates Seller Fulfilled Prime into qualifying parts of its FBM operation.
"Prime customers have very high expectations," Mirzayans says. "If you're going to fulfill outside Amazon's warehouses, your logistics operation has to be able to meet the standard."
Why Fulfillment Choice Is an Operating Decision, Not a Shipping Preference
Product selection, sourcing and logistics have to function together. The company uses marketplace data to evaluate which products are demonstrating demand, supplier relationships to source those products, and a domestic fulfillment network to complete the order.
"We don't look at FBM as simply a different shipping option," Mirzayans says. "For us it's an operating model. It changes how we think about inventory, capital, sourcing and fulfillment all at the same time."
No fulfillment model removes the ordinary risks of operating an e-commerce business. Mirzayans frames flexibility as a way of managing them rather than eliminating them.
"The goal isn't to pretend e-commerce has no risk," she says. "The goal is to build a smarter operating system around the variables we can control."
Frequently Asked Questions
Is FBM Cheaper Than FBA?
Not automatically. FBM removes Amazon's fulfillment fees but shifts warehousing, labor, packing and shipping costs onto the seller. Whether it costs less depends entirely on the seller's own logistics economics.
Can FBM Sellers Offer Prime Shipping?
Yes, through Seller Fulfilled Prime, but only after meeting Amazon's prequalification standards, completing a trial and maintaining ongoing performance requirements.
What Is a Sell First, Buy Later Inventory Model?
Inventory purchased against confirmed customer orders rather than bought speculatively in advance. It reduces capital tied up in untested products and shifts the constraint onto sourcing and fulfillment speed.
Does FBM Work for Every Seller?
It requires an existing fulfillment capability. Sellers without warehousing, staffing and shipping infrastructure generally cannot meet Amazon's delivery standards on their own.
