Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner spent Thanksgiving together yesterday, volunteering at The Midnight Mission’s annual Thanksgiving Street Fair in Los Angeles.
Together with their three children, Violet Ann, Seraphina Rose, and Samuel, they provided free meals to the homeless community. There was also a photo of her smiling and wearing an apron from a non-profit organization. A source told People: “They truly enjoy giving back to the community and spending quality time together as a family.” The pair were married from 2005 to 2018. I did.
People magazine previously reported that Affleck plans to spend Thanksgiving with his children and ex-wife. “He’s very happy with his life. He enjoys his job,” the source said. “He’s going to spend Thanksgiving with his kids.”
Meanwhile, a source told the Daily Mail that the exes are planning a quiet Thanksgiving following the death of Garner’s dog Birdie. “Ben and Jen are looking forward to today, and Ben is looking forward to a relaxing day full of food and soccer before he has to get back to work on the film,” a source told the magazine. “As for Ben, Thanksgiving is all about avoiding drama. It’s going to be low-key and just good vibes. And Jen is pitching in to make today as easy as possible.”
This will be Affleck’s first Thanksgiving since his split from Jennifer Lopez. Lopez appears to have spent Thanksgiving with his loved ones. In an Instagram photo, she posed next to a turkey and wrote, “I hope everyone had a beautiful and happy Thanksgiving. I’m so grateful to you all.”
Lopez and Affleck appear to have spent Thanksgiving apart, but Lopez still wants to maintain a relationship with his children. “Jennifer has been in touch with Affleck’s children,” a source told People earlier this month. “Her whole family loves them, and she wants them to know that if they need anything, she’s always there to help.”
