Ariana Grande’s awards season is off to an exciting start. Actors, singers, brand founders and more were honored with the “Rising Star” award at last night’s Palm Springs Film Festival. Yes, I know it’s a little crazy to call such a multi-hyphenate a rising star, but Grande’s role as Glinda in Wicked was her first meaty acting role in years.
For the big night, Grande wore a Vuitton balloon dress (matched with a vintage Takashi Murakami Speedy) and updated her hair. Maintaining her signature blonde shade (a big part of her transformation for her role in Wicked), Grande wore a short side part and swept her bangs to the side à la Audrey Hepburn. did. Grande’s makeup for the evening took the Hepburn vibe a step further with doe-eye liner with soft pink on her cheeks and lips.
“I would like to start by thanking my good friends Botox and Juvederm,” Grande joked in her acceptance speech. “I was hoping to hear “A Little Withered Hoshi” or “Drooping Stars” by now, so thank you.” She later said that she had not taken the injections for “four years,” but that she would take them back when she was ready. He added that he was not against it.
Earlier today, Grande attended the Creative Impact Awards with her bangs still intact. That means it may continue to exist. So we’re calling it now: baby bangs will be a trend in 2025.
