Finally, “The Last Showgirl” has been released in theaters nationwide. Pamela Anderson is a star every minute of every day, but this week she especially deserves to bloom. And I never miss an opportunity to give them to her.
After arriving at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night wearing black opera gloves, we finally got to see her (very well done) celebratory manicure as she crisscrossed New York for press appearances all week. I had a chance to see it.
Each nail was painted a soft, neutral color, except for one that was cut short, filed into a squoval shape, and carefully bandaged. We’ll call this an Iced Oat Milk Latte because this icon is plant-based and definitely knows the right amount of nut milk to add to the drink to create the perfect shade. Or should I just say latte to make things easier?
While we don’t know who does Anderson’s manicures (she’s a star when it comes to DIY projects, so it’s possible she does them herself), we do have some idea about the exact color of her nails. You can make a guess. Pantone’s 2025 Color of the Year, Mocha Mousse, is on trend, and this shade reminds us of ORLY’s Coffee Break, one of its many variations.
Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, described the shade as “sophisticated and rich” yet “unpretentious.” It’s Pam’s signature shade that wowed talk show hosts after she was nominated at an awards show.
Will there be another Pam-like move? For the rest of the look, I eliminated color makeup and added Sonsie Skin-based glow. At one event, she wore a pop of pink lipstick, a sweet, bright shade reminiscent of the press materials for The Last Showgirl, which I vote as the next big nail polish trend.
Until then, grab your tickets and don’t forget to sip the perfect latte on your way to the theater. This is something to wake up to.
