Hilary Duff isn’t your average mom, she’s a cool mom.
On Thursday, the actress brought her 12-year-old son, Luca Cruz, who looks just like her, as her plus-one to the Broadway opening of Cult of Love, which would have been a special treat in itself, but Duff added an extra bonus. Reach the top by doing it on an all-night school night. Duff and Luka, who lives with ex-husband Mike Comrie, made their red carpet debut as father and son outside the Hayes Theater in New York City, coordinating in black and gray outfits.
For the occasion, Duff tucked a semi-sheer black top into high-waisted gray pants with a wide-leg silhouette, cinching it with a skinny black belt. She finished her look with a floor-grazing black leather trench coat draped over her shoulders, pointy-toe pumps, and a matching black top-handle bag. As for jewelry, she opted for a stack of gold bangles on one wrist, some diamond rings, and a gold chain link necklace. Her blonde hair was styled in loose waves with a middle part, and the rest of her look included a glossy lip and glowing skin.
Meanwhile, Luca, who passes as his mother’s doppelganger, kept it casual in oversized black pants and a baggy charcoal gray jacket, paired with a black and white plaid button-down underneath.
In addition to Luca, Duff is also the mother of three daughters, Banks Violet, 6, Mae James, 3, and Townes Meadow, 7 months, all with husband Matthew.・Shared with Koma.
Ahead of welcoming her fourth child, Duff opened up about the “hardness” of raising three children and why she wouldn’t trade it for the world. “I love all of my kids so much,” he said during an interview with People, adding, “And I love this mayhem.”
“I have help, but babies just want their moms. Even Luka is still like, ‘Mommy, mommy, mommy.'” Moms cook the right way, moms bag the right way. It’s crazy to pack,” Duff explained at the time. “Bringing a newborn into the fold is a learning curve. A lot of people thought, ‘That third one really knows.'” And they’re right! ”
